Suri's World

She travelled back through time because humanity forgot what it meant to be human.

Think first. AI second. Humans always.

Suri rides through the city of the Digital Influx learning universe: the character students follow through comics, ethical dilemmas and design missions.

01

Who she is

Suri comes from a future where artificial intelligence has become embedded in almost every part of life.

AI thinks. AI creates. AI remembers. AI decides.

Over generations, people became so dependent on synthetic intelligence that they slowly stopped developing the abilities that once defined them.

What was lost

  • Curiosity
  • Creativity
  • Empathy
  • Memory
  • Instinct
  • Resilience
  • Human connection
  • The ability to think and decide for yourself
Humanity didn't lose a war against AI. Humanity simply forgot itself.

02

Why Suri travels back

Suri discovers that changing the future means going back to the generation where the relationship between human intelligence and synthetic intelligence was still being formed.

Our generation.

Her mission isn't to destroy AI or prevent people from using it. It's to help young people remember something far more important:

What makes you human?

And how do you protect those abilities in a world where machines can increasingly think and act for you?

03

Why martial arts matters

Suri's journey is also a journey back to ancient human knowledge.

Through martial arts and her mentors, she learns that human capability isn't only intelligence measured by what we know. It is the connection between mind, body, emotion, discipline and action.

What the training teaches her

  • Focus when distracted
  • Remain calm under pressure
  • Remember movements
  • Adapt when circumstances change
  • Understand another person's intentions
  • Make decisions in the moment
AI can generate an answer. But Suri has to experience the world.

That difference becomes central to her understanding of Human Experience vs Synthetic Experience.

04

The comic becomes the curriculum

Suri's adventures introduce students to these ideas through storytelling.

The challenges she faces in the comic then become NeuroAthletics activities where students exercise attention, memory, cognitive flexibility, creativity, coordination and decision-making.

Then we introduce AI. Students learn not simply how to use AI, but how to question it:

  • What do I think?
  • What does the AI think?
  • Why did it give me that answer?
  • Should I trust it?
  • What should I delegate?
  • What should remain human?
  • Who makes the final decision?
  1. 1The comictells the story.
  2. 2NeuroAthleticsdevelops the human capability.
  3. 3Cognitive Designteaches students how to use that capability alongside AI.

05

Suri's mission

She isn't travelling through time to save humanity from AI.

She's travelling back to make sure that, as AI becomes more powerful, we don't forget ourselves.

The future can be intelligent without becoming less human.
Suri arrives at a school: the story becomes NeuroAthletics activities and students working together, which is where the comic turns into the curriculum.

Where the story goes next

Suri’s challenges become the lessons students sit in.
