UX is short for “user experience” which is the experience a person has when using a product or service. UX designers are concerned with how a user feels when interacting with the digital (or sometimes physical) design, like an app or website. Their aim is always the same: to make the user’s experience better.
Children know how to scroll, swipe and use applications. Even download them.
But what they don’t know is that behind their favorite app, game or product is empathy, design and a rapidly growing industry with a demand that far outweighs the supply.

The two are related, like brother and sister. But they are definitely not twins. User experience (UX) is the experience a person has when using a product or service, while user interface (UI) is the finished look of what they interact with. Take for example, online shopping. UX is about how you find the products, what makes you decide to buy, how easy it is to check out, the online shopping experience. Whereas the UI is the site you are on, the buttons you press, how they look, the aesthetic.

‘UX for Kids’ is made up of 12 lessons, each 40-50 minutes long. While ‘UX for Teens’ is much longer and made up of 46 lessons, each lasting between 30-90 mins depending on ability.
